The PPF Women’s Sport Committee was established in 2022 with the aim of improving the experience of being an elite female player, no matter what stage of their professional pathway they are on. The committee helps player associations to work collaboratively to understand the specific services and support needed by female players and share information which will help develop opportunities.
To coincide with a number of high profile women’s sport events this summer, we hosted the PPF Female Athletes Week from July 3rd to 9th kindly supported by the Tom Maynard Trust. During the week, the PPF released a range of case studies, videos and other resources relating to professional sportswomen, highlighting issues they face and the support they receive from player associations to enhance their sporting careers and continue their personal development. As part of the week, we also hosted a special event at The Oval ahead of the Women's Ashes IT20 match featuring a player's panel and Executive panel along with various group discussions. Read more
