Simon Barker, Director of Player Services at the Professional Footballers Association was re-elected for another term and is one of the PPF’s longest serving representatives bringing a wealth of experience in the Player Association movement both domestically and internationally.

The AGM also saw the Federation’s constitution updated to promote gender diversity within its governance structures, reflecting the rapid growth of women’s professional sport within the membership of the PPF.

PPF Chair Brendon Batson OBE said:

“We are delighted to welcome Liz to our board where her expertise in both women’s sport and business will be a great asset to the Federation. It is also great to have Simon Barker’s continued support as we move the organisation forward to ensure that players’ interests are promoted, protected and developed.”
