PPF - 12th November 2025 - Lynsey Hyslop Elected Deputy Chair of Womens Sport Committee

November 2025

The PPF is pleased to announce the election of the Rugby Players Association’s Senior Player Development Manager, Lynsey Hyslop, as Deputy Chair of the PPF’s Women’s Sport Committee.

After 13 years working in elite sport, Lynsey brings a wealth of experience and her current role working with the England Women’s Rugby Team gives her a unique perspective on the differing needs, opportunities and challenges faced by female athletes.

Lynsey has led on the development of Thrive, the Rugby Players Association’s first ever women-specific personal development programme and has helped deliver a key engagement strategy which has seen the RPA’s membership of female players grow from 40 to over 230 female players across the game since its launch in 2024.

Lynsey Hyslop, who will be supporting the Netball Players Association Chief Executive Liz Bloor as Chair of the Women’s Sport Committee, said:

“Being part of the PPF Committees has shown me how powerful collaboration can be in driving meaningful change. As Vice Chair, I’m looking forward to building on that momentum, strengthening our collective voice, amplifying female representation, and ensuring the structures supporting athletes evolve as rapidly as the game itself.”

PPF Chief Executive, Simon Taylor, said:

“Our Committees are fantastic forums to share ideas, develop new initiatives and collaborate with different player associations. Lynsey’s experience supporting female athletes and promoting their voices will be invaluable as we look to continue the impressive progress of our Women’s Sport Committee going forward.”
